Keeping Faith in God’s Plan for You
In this post, Dr. John Binkley, an experienced missionary, businessman, philanthropist, and good friend of our CEO Sam Pollinzi, discusses the importance of maintaining faith in God and trusting His will for us, even when His plan feels completely unclear.
Hope is the feeling that what is wanted can be had. Life has to be lived with hope. As a human being, you use hope to visualize what you want. When I think of hope, I think about African Americans who were captured in war or kidnaped and sold into slavery. Can you imagine their thoughts when one day you are living life with your family and the next day you are in chains being sold to someone else? I am sure there were several thoughts that ran through their minds; fear, denial, hate, what will happen. Next to make things worse, they are put on ships and taken to a foreign land.
We all have to make decisions. Rich people make them. Poor people make them. Good people make them. Bad people make them. That is what life is, a series of decisions, some good and some bad. Probably the most famous decision in literature is Hamlet’s decision “To be or not to be”. Hamlet was in a tough spot. He knew that his uncle had killed his father. Now he debated with himself to murder is uncle and thus avenge his father’s death or to take his own life and avoid making a decision about avenging his father’s murder.

Please help us with a monthly donation of $25 or more as we complete the apartment complex for sexually exploited women and their children. Join us in participating in the work of The Lord as we take the women and children off the streets and provide them with a safe place of healing and restoration.
Thank you for responding!
